He suffered from various issues that affected his health and his career, which led him to the path of recovery and is doing better than ever today.

Who is Justin Bieber?

Justin Bieber was born on March 1, 1994 in Stratford, Canada. At a very young age, Justin had a strong passion for music and performing.  He found himself performing on the streets or at school talent shows. Justin performed on the steps of the Avon Theater with a guitar he used to rent. Justin’s mother, Pattie Malette, posted several videos of her son performing on YouTube. A former marketing executive from So Def Records, Scooter Braun, contacted Pattie to possibly sign her son to a label but first, he needed more information about Justin. Scooter ended up talking then meeting with Justin in Atlanta to record demo tapes. Soon after, he ended up being signed and found himself singing and meeting with another famous artist. One of them being Usher, who later became a pivotal part to the rise of his career.

From Small Town Kid to Performing For Thousands of People

Stardom quickly swallowed Justin and his life was forever changed. Justin released his first EP, ”My World” back in 2009. His first big hit was, “One Time”, which ended up being on radio stations across the country. He went on a promotional tour to promote his single and album. Justin went to do interviews on talk shows, radio stations, and more.  He also released music videos for his singles. Many of the songs he released hit a spot on the top charts. He released a few albums after including, “My World 2.0” and “Believe.”

Justin went from singing on the steps of Avon Theater to small venues when he performed his own music. Later on, he found himself performing for millions of fans, selling out large arenas all over the world, such as Madison Square Garden in New York City. Believe it or not, Justin sold out Madison Square Garden back in 2012 in only 30 seconds at 18 years old during his “Believe” World Tour. “Believe” was his second world tour, following the My World Tour. Justin released a concert movie as well called, “Never Say Never.” It was released for a limited time in theaters and fans went crazy to see it.

Justin’s Struggles Throughout his Career

Justin accomplished so much at such a young age, but as a young kid growing up in the industry with the huge platform he had, it was a lot for him and he let it get to his head. It began to become too much for himself and he ended up going down the wrong path. Justin began using drugs and alcohol as an escape from the pressure he was constantly put under. Not only did Justin struggle with addiction issues, but he also struggled with severe mental health issues like anxiety and depression. This struggle led to fights with paparazzi, an arrest for a DUI, assault cases, drag racing, and a toxic on and off relationship with then girlfriend, Selena Gomez from 2011 to 2018, and many other immature, careless acts. This went on for quite some time until Justin decided it was time to take a break from the spotlight and focus on his well being.

In 2017, he ended up canceling the rest of his “Purpose” Tour with only 14 shows remaining. He started the world tour in March of 2016 and was canceled in July of 2017. This left fans devastated, but at the same time, they all saw his struggle and knew it was best for him. Fans were very patient with Justin during this process and only wished for healing and self love that he so desperately needed. He found himself relying on his Christian faith to help him overcome this time in his life. He focused on his love for God and eventually found himself on the road to recovery.

How is Justin currently?

Justin now is on a new path in life. He is happily married, sober, and doing what he does best which is making music. He has been featured in many songs since then with artists such as Ed Sheeran, DJ Khaled, David Guetta, Chris Brown, and Dan + Shay. With the help of his wife, Hailey Baldwin, Justin seems to be doing better than ever. Justin met Hailey back in 2009 at a fan event. In 2018, the happy couple got married and were ready to start their life together. They secretly got married September of 2018 in a New York City courthouse. They had their big ceremony in September of 2019 on a 20,000 acre location in South Carolina. The wedding was nothing short of magical and you can see in every picture how truly happy Justin finally is.

In 2020, Justin Bieber released his fifth and latest album, “Changes.” This is Bieber’s first album since “Purpose,” which was released in 2015. Changes debuted at number one in the United States on the Billboard 200 Chart. Justin did set out to start touring again and fans were ecstatic. Unfortunately, it had to be canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only were fans’ hearts broken, so was he. This was going to be Justin’s redemption tour after everything that happened throughout the past few years, but it is now on hold until 2021. Thankfully, Justin didn’t leave fans hanging. He has released multiple songs since his canceled tour. He released “Stuck With U,” “Holy,”, “Lonely,” and his latest hit “Monster” featuring singer, Shawn Mendes.

This is only the beginning for Justin’s new life chapter. He is now focusing on continuing his healthy life journey with his wife, Hailey Bieber, and possibly starting a family, along with advancing his music career even more. The best is yet to come from Justin.
