The rumors that an Apple Car is being developed in a secret lab in Sunnyvale, California are true.

Apple is indeed coming out with a new car to rival the Tesla from the famous entrepreneur and billionaire bad boy Elon Musk. Elon once noted, “I tried to get a meeting with Tim Cook but he refused.”

The Inside of the Apple Car

The interior of the Apple car boasts touchpoint activation and self-driving like Musk’s car. People have projected that this car would look very similar to an enlarged version of an iPhone. The project in question is called Project Titan involving 15 to 20 of the best automobile manufacturers in Germany.

Engineers Masterminds Behind the Apple Car

Leading the development of this car is Jamie Waydo the most high-profile engineer in self-driving car technology. Waydo has an impressive sense of technological understanding from his time working in propulsion engines at NASA while engineering the entire test driving fleet there.

Dan Dodge who headed Blackberry’s automation system will also be involved in the development of this new car rumored to air in 2024.

The retail price for this vehicle is looking to be around 55,000 dollars which is about the same price as the Tesla Model 3.

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple tried to brush off excitement by drily adding “We are focusing on automaton systems” on top of that, reports that self-driving permits have been sent to Apple’s Cupertino location have been released.

Self Driving Cars and the Legality Behind It

While the iCar isn’t expected to air this year, we can see these states have legalized self-driving cars.
