Major money offers coming from the adult film industry directly targeting popular celebrities has been an ongoing topic of conversation for quite a while now. Plenty of celebrities have agreed to star in these types of films including Adam West and Dustin Diamond. For most other famous stars, whatever hefty pricetags were offered simply weren’t enough to make them consider.
Mere days after Kylie Jenner‘s 18th birthday in 2015, multiple adult film companies came after her like vultures with offer letters. According to TMZ, Vivid Entertainment offered the makeup mogul “a $10 million deal for a video featuring her and Tyga.” The founder of the company tried to appeal to the youngest Kar-Jenner sister by reminding her of Kim Kardashian‘s rise to fame in the early 2000s with the help of a sex tape. Another company called Digital Playground invited Jenner to become a Brand Ambassador.
None of these companies had in the mind the fact that she founded Kylie Cosmetics in 2014 and launched her now near-billion dollar company in 2015. She never thought twice about the offers sent her way– she already knew she was building an impressively fast-growing beauty empire. She decided to shut down any and all conversation on the matter when she took to Snapchat and said, “Never gonna see a sex tape from me. It’s not gonna happen.” Anyone holding out hope to see a sex tape from her is fully out of luck.
When Miley Cyrus was 22 years old in 2013, GameLink, an adult film company wrote up an offer for her that came with a twist. According to Bustle, they most likely already knew it would be impossible to get her to agree to star in front of the camera. They asked her if she would direct a movie instead. In other words, they just wanted to have her name attached to a project for their own personal gain.
They offered her $2 million dollars and tried to convince her that her choice to sign on would encourage a sense of female empowerment. Keep in mind that 2013 is the year Cyrus released her Bangerz album, danced onstage at the MTV VMA’s with Robin Thicke, and regularly slid down a giant tongue during her world tour performances. She was clearly already feeling empowered as female enough as it was!
Britney Spears‘ marriage and divorce from Kevin Federline was a lot to keep up with back in the early 2000s. They starred in their reality show Britney and Kevin: Chaotic together in 2005, but by 2007, things between them were officially over. Before the couple called it quits, Spears (24 at the time) was offered $100 million by the late David Hans Schmidt, otherwise known as “The Sultan of Sleaze,” to star in an X-rated movie with Federline.
According to The Hollywood Gossip, nothing ever came to fruition with the offer. A few years later she took on a Las Vegas residency between 2013 and 2017 that ended up becoming a major financial success proving that starring in an adult film would have been completely unnecessary.
As of today, Justin Bieber is happily married to his model wife, Hailey Bieber. From their gorgeous wedding day photos to the precious pictures they post together on social media, they are a picture-perfect couple. In 2015, while he was still dating Selena Gomez on-and-off and while he was spotted getting flirty with Kendall Jenner, he was offered a deal from Men.com.
They wanted him to film a gay scene along with Johnny Rapid. Bieber, who was 21 years old at the time, didn’t even acknowledge the deal. He released his album Purpose that year and had way too much going on career-wise to be bothered.
Gaining fame on MTV’s Teen Mom led Farrah Abraham down the path of working in the adult film industry after she agreed to a deal with a company called Back Door. Amber Portwood might be another alum from the same hit reality TV show but she was not interested in following in those footsteps. Vivid Entertainment offered her half a million dollars in 2017 to star in an X-rated movie and she turned it down to be a good example for her daughter, Leah.
According to Radar Online, Vivid Entertainment is keeping the door open if she ever decides to change her mind. The Blast reports that Portwood is taking time to focus on college studies at Purdue University in Indiana which means that starring in an adult film is likely the last thing on her mind.
The Hills was the most popular show on MTV between 2006 and 2010. The drama that took place between members of the cast is still to this day unforgettable. Who could forget about the time Spencer Pratt spread the horrible rumor about Lauren Conrad having a leaked sex tape? This is the exact rumor that destroyed Conrad’s friendship with his wife, Heidi Montag, forever.
Interestingly enough, sex tape rumors began to swirl about Pratt himself after Lucas Entertainment tried to convince him to star in a gay adult film back in 2007. According to Fame Focus, the undisclosed offer was pretty high– but still not high enough to get Pratt on board.
