In previous news, Clare Crawley and Dale Moss had called it quits. The pair had a quick romance with a quick ending, leaving Clare in shambles. Moss made their break-up public first. However, it wasn’t only his followers who were startled by the news. Crawley herself was as well. She was allegedly blind sided by his statement on Instagram and claimed that from her perspective they were just taking some space. The two were officially together in early November but broken up by late January. And well, once again they have shown us that their endurance to ride things out isn’t very strong. Reality Steve recently shared to his twitter that they were spotted together in Venice, Florida just the other day.
The Break-Up
The former NFL player brought the news to Instagram with a statement reading “I wanted to share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways. We appreciate the love and support we’ve received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time.” He finished it on a positive note saying “We strongly believe in leading with love and always remaining true to oneself – something our families have taught and instilled in us throughout our lives. We only hope the best for one another.”
And anyone who thought that his post was done with grace was knocked over on their butt after reading Clare’s statement, which was posted a few days after. The former Bachelorette made it known that she herself, learned about their break-up at the same moment that we did. She wrote “I was made aware of a ‘mutual’ statement at the same time you all were, so I’ve needed some time to really digest this.” She continued on to share her heartbreak over their split along with her commitment and investment in what they had. Staying true to love however, she ended it with strength, writing, “I may not have all the answers, but I do know this – I will continue to show up, stand by my word, and be committed to love.”
The Cheating Scandal
Rumors circulated that Dale had been cheating on Clare with New York real estate agent Eleonora Srugo. Srugo and Moss have been friends since before he became a contestant on the hit ABC show however, that wasn’t enough to squash the skepticism of fans. A source shared with E! News that Clare “never trusted the friendship and that it was shady.” The source also made claims that Srugo had gushed over Dale to her friends saying that the two of them have been “sneaking around.” However, the real estate agent denied all allegations in a statement with Reality Steve. She said “Dale and I are, and have been platonic friends for a few years. We have never been romantically involved in any way. I was excited for his engagement and only wish him all the best.” She continued on with saying “We have never been involved dating, or romantically in any way whatsoever. Any claims we have dated or were romantically involved are blatant lies.”
Wow. Talk about laying it down. Usually people say that there’s three sides to every story – your side, their side and the truth. But what about this one? Are there four sides? What ‘s the truth?
The Foreseen Make-Up, Question Mark?
Dale has admitted to feeling “so much guilt” over his break-up with Crawley. During an Instagram Live on January 30th, the South Dakota native broke down in tears when getting into the details of his life since they parted ways. Avoiding the reason of why they split he shared with viewers “I talk so much with family and friends about everything that’s gone on. The situation with Clare, it’s fucking sucked, you know. And I think everyone looks for a right answer and a right way to handle these things…and there really isn’t one.” Wiping away tears, he kept going “This has f–king rocked me. I felt so many emotions and so much guilt, but also so much confusion and so much hurt.”
Was this raw vulnerability everything Clare needed to pull her back in? Maybe. Because according to Reality Steve the two were seen getting friendly on a walk through Venice, Florida on February 16th.
This instantly caught traction from fans leaving them to comment “Maskless and not social distancing, so they’re either being irresponsible about COVID (unlikely, given Clare’s mother) or they’re part of each other’s bubbles.” Being hopeful that their maskless reasoning is due to them sharing a bubble another fan commented “Good for Dale & Clare. Maybe they can have a nice relationship with the pressure of the show and engagement off the table for a while.”
Reading Between The Lines
Dale’s most recent Instagram story features him in the same tan shirt that he’s wearing in the photos with Clare. Not only that, he is seen at nail salon getting sparkly gold nail polish painted on his toes where you can hear a female laugh in the background. The former athlete also puts in text that he “lost a bet.” Hmmm.
And are you ready for more? He has also removed his break-up statement from his page. This only leads us to question, if the final rose is back on the table for Clare to give Dale one more time?
